Rupert Crowe

Rupert Crowe
Non-Executive Chairman

Rupert has over 40 years experience as a geologist. He worked for six years with the Geological Survey of Western Australia and then for Aquitaine Mining (Ireland) Ltd where he became Exploration Manager. In 1984 Rupert was one of the founding directors of Crowe Schaffalitzky and Associates (CSA) in Ireland, with the former staff of Aquitaine. In 1986 he moved back to Western Australia to open a branch office for CSA.

He is a specialist in lead/zinc exploration and mine development, and has been intimately involved with successful operations in Ireland, Australia and China, as well as exploration projects in many other parts of the world. He has also been involved in the management of many gold exploration projects in Western Australia and one mine operation from start to finish. He has extensive corporate experience in starting new projects and raising finance for them. He continues to assist CSA Global by mentoring staff, coordinating our internal training program and with corporate governance matters.

Jeff Elliot

Jeff Elliott
Managing Director

Jeff is a geologist with nearly 20 years experience in the mining and exploration industry. After studying at Curtin and Southern Illinois Universities he started his career on the Goldfields of Western Australia, working in open cut and underground gold mines before moving to gold exploration with companies such as Metana Minerals, Reynolds, Pancontinental Mining and Dominion Mining. A change to base metal exploration took Jeff to the Kimberley region of Western Australia where he worked for Western Metals along-side consultants from CSA. A desire to travel took Jeff to Malaysia with Target Mining Corporation where he conducted regional exploration for gold and base metals.

Jeff joined CSA in 1998 becoming a Director in 2002, Operations Manager in 2005 and Managing Director in 2007. Since joining the company he has been involved in exploration and evaluation programs for a wide variety of commodities including precious base and ferrous metals, industrial minerals, coal and uranium. His experience includes exploration, resource evaluation, feasibility studies, project development, mining operations, asset acquisitions, project financing and corporate advice. The geographic spread of activities includes Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe.

Neal Reynolds

Dr. Neal Reynolds
Director

Neal is a geologist with over 20 years experience in the minerals industry, after completing a doctorate in Ore Geology in 1987. He has broad commodity experience and is an expert in sediment hosted base metals and gold, and intrusive-related base metal systems. He also has specialist expertise in sedimentary geology and basin analysis, as well as in structural geology.

Neal first joined CSA in Ireland in 1992 where he managed exploration for carbonate -hosted zinc-lead. In 2004 he moved to Australia to help develop CSA’s Australian branch of which he became a Director in 2002. His activities at CSA include project generation, project audit, exploration and project management. Neal has extensive experience in project evaluation and expertise in the application of appropriate exploration strategies and methodologies in diverse geological settings and geomorphologic terrains. He has worked for junior and major companies in Australia, SE Asia, China, Africa, Europe, Central and North America.

Gerry Fahey

Gerry Fahey
Director 

Gerry is a geologist with over 35 years experience in the minerals industry following a few years in petroleum. He is a specialist in mining geology, mine development and operational training. He gained solid underground production experience while working as a Mine Geologist in the Irish base- metals industry on projects such as Tynagh, Avoca, Ladys Well Barite Mine and finally, for almost six years in a senior role at Tara Mines (Navan) for Noranda and Outokumpu. On immigrating to Australia in 1988, Gerry gained further operational experience in Western Australia and the Northern Territory (Whim Creek and Dominion Mining). As Chief Geologist Mining for Delta Gold/AurionGold he gained extensive resource, mine development and feasibility study experience on such projects as Kanowna Belle and Sunrise in Australia and Ngezi Platinum in Zimbabwe.

Gerry and Malcolm Titley formed FinOre Mining Consultants in 2005, which merged with CSA in 2006. Gerry has been a Director of CSA since 2006 and heads up our Resources and Mine Geology division. Gerry is a member of the Joint Ore Reserve Committee (JORC) and a Board Member (Federal Councilor) for the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG).

Malcolm Titley

Malcolm Titley
Director

Malcolm has over 30 years experience in the minerals industry with most of it spent in Western Australia either in production environments or as a consultant to various mining companies. He started his career in iron ore geology working in both exploration and production for Hamersley Iron. He moved to gold production in the late 80’s in senior positions with Metana Minerals and Newmont before a change to consulting in 1991 with BHP Engineering. As a consultant, Malcolm was exposed to a variety of projects and commodities for both BHP and external clients. His problem solving skills and production experience were then put to use at a senior level at the Ok Tedi mine project. Following this, he had another stint with BHP Engineering, this time as Principal Consultant Geologist. In 1998, Malcolm moved back into a production role as Chief Geologist at Granny Smith gold mine where he later became Manager of Mining.

Malcolm's expertise is in resource estimation, mine planning, audits and evaluations and he has been a Mine Manager and has a Quarry Managers Certificate. He and Gerry Fahey formed FinOre Mining Consultants in 2005, which merged with CSA in 2006. Malcolm was appointed a Director of the company in 2006 and since 2008 he has led our successful and growing UK office.

Brenton Siviour

Brenton Siviour
Director

Brenton has specialised in Business Management and Forensic Accounting for the past 20 years. He started at Deloittes and moved to Ernst & Young before commencing his own practice in 1995. Brenton has performed forensic accounting assignments across Australia and in London, and has worked on corporate investigations such as Rothwells, Bond Corporation, and the international Bank of Credit and Commerce. He has previously presented forensic accounting papers for the CPA’s and Institute of Chartered Accountants, and is the immediate past chairman of the Western Australian division of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Forensic Accountants Special Interest Group. Brenton is the author of an international business consulting methodology titled Business Mastery, a program which operates in Australia and China.

Brenton has worked with the company on a consultancy basis for over 15 years and was appointed a Non-Executive Director of CSA Global in 2008.

Daniel Wholley

Daniel (Stan) Wholley
Director / Operations Manager

Stan has been in involved in minerals exploration industry for more than 15 years.  He commenced his career as a geologist in the Western Australian goldfields working for several exploration companies including Plutonic, Battle Mountain and Melita Mining before moving to base metal exploration in the Kimberley region as part of CSA Australia.  In the late 1990’s he moved into the iron ore industry and spent three years exploring the Pilbara with Robe which included a period with the DFS team at Robe’s West Angelas project. Stan returned to CSA in 2003 where he has remained until present and was made a director of CSA in 2009.

 

During his career he has managed large and small exploration projects across various commodities, including gold, iron ore, lead, zinc, silver and copper.  With 15 years experience He is an expert in the planning, implementation and supervision of exploration programs and has considerable experience in project evaluation, resource development and corporate advice.

 

 

Kent Bannister

Director Mining & Projects

Kent has over 35 years experience in iron ore, base metals, gold, uranium, manganese, mineral sands and nickel projects worldwide. During this time, Kent has held various managerial positions from General Manager to Company Director. Kent has provided consulting services since 1988 and has undertaken or lead more than 100 mineral project studies, evaluation and due diligence studies for Australian and international companies.

Kent has been with CSA Global since 2010. He is responsible for building the company’s capability in mining and overall project services and to further grow CSA’s mining services globally. Assignments Kent has worked on with CSA Global have included the full range of studies from concept level to full feasibility across a wide range of commodities and countries. Specialises in working with clients at an early stage to develop the optimum concepts for new projects.


John Bishop
Director

John is a geologist with over 25 year’s management expertise in exploration, project generation and resource definition, both within Indonesia and internationally. He has worked on a variety of commodities including gold, nickel, base metals, tin and iron ore.

John commenced with CSA Global in 2008 and was appointed as President / Director of CSA Global Indonesia in 2009. In late 2009 he and his family moved to Jakarta where he is building a team of national and expatriate resource industry professionals and support staff for CSA Global. John enjoys working with our Indonesian and international clients in diverse roles including project generation, exploration management, JORC audits, project reviews, due diligence, resource evaluation, mining studies and corporate advice.
