OUR CASE STUDIES

CSA Global was commissioned by the Yukon Geological Survey to generate a series of digital map products based on new geochemical data from the re-analysis of ~20,000 archived stream sediment samples covering ~290,000 km2 of the northern Cordillera in Canada.

CSA Global was commissioned by Ardiden Limited to assess graphite mineralisation at the Manitouwadge project and make recommendations on further exploration.

CSA Global was commissioned by PepinNini Minerals Ltd to undertake geological, geochemical and geophysical investigations of the Santa Ines project in Salta Province, Argentina.

Prosperity Goldfields retained CSA Global to provide specialist technical support for their early-stage gold exploration project at Kiyuk Lake in Nunavut. CSA was involved in and directed many different aspects of the summer and winter programs in 2012 and 2013 with key input into the development of an property-wide exploration strategy.
OUR CANADIAN CONSULTANTS

Allan Armitage
Ph.D. (Geology), MSc (Geology), BSC (Hons, Geology), PGeo (Alberta & British Columbia)Sc )

Allan is a professional geologist with more than 25 years’ experience in exploration, resource estimation and assessment of a wide variety of commodities, with a particular emphasis on Au, base metals (Cu-Pb-Zn) and U. Since 1991, he has been involved in and managed mineral exploration projects for gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc, nickel and uranium in jurisdictions that include Canada, Mexico and Honduras and, to a lesser, extent the United States, Chile, Bolivia, and the Philippines. These projects ranged from grass roots to the advanced exploration/resource definition stage. He has extensive experience preparing 43-101 reports, having authored or co-authored more than 35 NI43-101 reports, including being responsible for resource estimates. Additionally, he has authored or co-authored numerous refereed journal papers and un-refereed government reports, exploration reports and abstracts, and has extensive experience presenting papers at conferences.

Dennis Arne
BSc (Hons) Geology, MSc, PhD, Grad Diploma
Managing Director (Vancouver), Principal Consultant

Dennis has over 30 years’ experience in applied geochemistry in a wide range of environments, in both the minerals and the petroleum industries, and as an academic and in geological surveys. For the last 10 years, he has been involved as a consultant in the development of geochemical exploration programs for precious and base metals exploration in Australia, North America, South America and Africa. Dennis works with our clients to better understand and use their geochemical data to target new deposits and optimise the understanding of the entire mineral system to ensure cost effective and well targeted exploration.

Eric Grunsky
PhD (Geology), MSc (Geology), BSc Geology (Hons)

Eric has more than 35 years of experience in a range of geoscience disciplines, including mineral exploration, geologic mapping, geochemical surveys, resource assessment and geospatial analysis. He is an internationally recognized expert in the evaluation and interpretation of geochemical survey data at continental, regional and camp scales. His experience includes geochemical data derived from exposed rock, till, lake sediment, stream, soil and weathered materials geochemistry. Eric’s expertise has been used to identify and isolate areas of mineralization for a range of commodities, including precious metal, diamond, base metal and uranium deposits. He employs the use of advanced statistical methods that include spatial analysis to characterize and validate geochemical processes associated with background lithologies, alteration assemblages and key mineralization signatures. Eric has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and has made many presentations at mineral industry conferences.

David Johnson
Grad Dip (Applied Finance and Investment), MSc (Geophysics), BSc (Hon) Geology

David is a geophysicist with over 25 years’ experience in mineral exploration, covering a wide range of commodities and project locations in Australia, Asia, North America, Africa and Scandinavia. David played a leading role in the discovery of the Moran nickel orebody at Kambalda and the Rosie nickel deposit in the Duketon greenstone belt. He has been instrumental in the discovery of the Silver Star North graphite deposit near Manitouwadge, Ontario. He has led technical teams to exploration success in both grassroots and near-mine settings, has strong written and verbal communications skills and is effective in presenting technical information to non-specialists. David has the ability to deliver analysis and interpret regional geoscientific datasets to identify new exploration opportunities and has recognised theoretical and practical expertise in electrical and electromagnetic geophysical methods. David has significant experience dealing with indigenous people (Aboriginal, Mongolian and Indian).
