PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – 5 June 2019 – CSA Global congratulates all new and re-elected councillors appointed to the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) Council for 2019-2020, in particular, Manager of Eastern States and Pac-Rim, Patrick Maher, Principal Resource Geologist, Matthew Cobb, and Senior Consultant, Leah Moore.
Newly appointed councillor Leah Moore said: “I am honoured and excited to be a part of the AIG Federal Council. I hope to contribute in a meaningful way, and help progress the AIG as a leader in equality and diversity for all geoscience professionals.”
Patrick who commences his fourth year with the AIG Federal Council and currently chairs the AIG Qualifications and Membership Committee stated: “I’m very proud to have been elected as the Vice President of the AIG and I am looking forward to a very busy year.”

AIG is the leading professional institute for geoscientists throughout Australia, and is a not for profit organisation helping to advance the skills and status of its members and will partner with ASEG and PESA to present the Second Australian Exploration Conference (AEGC2019) in Perth, Western Australia with the theme “Data to Discovery”.
CSA Global will be represented by Dr Carl Brauhart at the AEGC Conference who will present on the Role of Geochemistry in Understanding Mineral Systems during September 2-5, 2019.
