CSA Global Director of Exploration, Dr Neal Reynolds will present “Unlocking ASEAN mineral potential; learning from the past, looking to the future” at the 11th Asia-Pacific Mineral Resource Exhibition and Conference (APMREC) 2016 between the 10 – 12 November 2016 at the Putra World Trade Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The aim of this years conference is to help energise, revitalise and promote mineral resource development in the present challenging global economic headwinds and this years theme will focus on “Advances in safe, sustainable, green and responsible mineral resource and groundwater development”.
The event is organised by The ASEAN Federation of Mining Associations (AFMA), with the Malaysian Chamber of Mines and supported by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Minerals and Geoscience, Tin Industry (R&D) Board and Institute of Geology Malaysia.

Dr Neal Reynolds is a geologist with almost 30 years’ experience in the mineral exploration industry from project generation to advanced project stage, encompassing targeting studies, project management, project due diligence, audit and optimisation, and expert reporting. Neal has worked on projects globally, with extensive experience in Asia, Africa, and Australia, and is particularly sought after for his specialist expertise in the metallogeny and mining industry in Southeast Asia. He has broad commodity experience and expertise in sediment-hosted and intrusive-related base metals and gold systems. He specialises in integrated mineral systems targeting at district to deposit scale, including the effective application of sedimentary geology, lithostratigraphy, structural geology, and alteration studies.
