Diggers & Dealers is Australia’s leading mining forum, combining 70 corporate presentations by listed mining and exploration companies alongside a large exhibition area housing over 159 exhibitors from the sector. Aaron Green
Business Unit Managing Partner
Aaron is a geologist and a partner with more than 20 years’ mining industry experience. Aaron’s main focus is ensuring the Australasian teams work together to deliver the best quality advice to our clients by ensuring strong communication and collaboration across offices. A large part of his role is managing the Perth head office, which houses our largest and most technically diverse teams. Aaron works daily with our international teams enabling CSA Global to provide our Australasian clients with local and international project access to our global pool of experts.
Graham Jeffress
Partner (Asia Pacific)
Graham is a geologist with more than 28 years’ experience in exploration and management in Australia, PNG and Indonesia. His broad experience across the mining sector underpins CSA Global’s specialist technical corporate services. He is responsible for a coordinating a vast pool of high calibre specialists in Australia and internationally. His role on the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) ensures he is very well informed in key regulatory matters. Graham manages small and large projects with our clients throughout Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Australasia. He works collaboratively with our international offices to ensure we get the right skill set for each role, which can be anything from initial high-level fatal flaw checks through comprehensive due diligence to independent technical reporting and valuation of large multiple project mining operations.
Patrick Maher
Director – Singapore, Indonesia, & Eastern Australia
Patrick is a director of our Indonesian, Singaporean and East Australian offices. Patrick’s experience and involvement on projects throughout Australia and the Pacific Rim provides the background to understand specific needs of our clients operating in these regions. Patrick is a geologist with over 15 years’ experience in geological disciplines ranging from mapping and exploration to working as a project leader for community development and sustainability groups and project management in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Australia.
Howard Simpson
Manager – Mining Manager, Consulting Director
Howard is an experienced mining professional who has undertaken the delivery of mining engineering, mine planning and economic evaluation for projects, technical studies and operations. He has delivered projects and studies across multiple geographies and commodities, with responsibilities for design, planning, scheduling of mine operations, and economic evaluation. Howard has had a particular focus on innovation throughout his career focusing upon technology solutions, integrated mining systems such as in-pit crushing and conveying, new and alternative mining methodologies. With significant project management and operational experience, Howard has worked across numerous commodities including gold, copper, phosphate, ilmenite, zircon, rutile, iron ore, manganese, chromite, nickel and coal. He has extensive international experience, having worked on projects in Australia, Brazil, South Africa, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Saudi Arabia. Howard is a competent person in terms of the JORC Code for coal and mineral sands. He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, a Chartered Professional (CP) Mining and a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland.
