CSA Global together with parent company, ERM is pleased to be sponsoring and presenting at the upcoming Paydirt’s Battery Minerals Conference between 21-22 March 2023, Pan Pacific in Perth, Western Australia. Join us as our colleague and ERM Global Director-Critical Minerals, Toby Whincup presents on Critical Minerals and the ESG Imperative.
The conference is the premier forum for miners and explorers developing the essential ingredients driving the Industrial Revolution 4.0. Global demand for critical minerals needed for clean technology applications are forecast to grow exponentially over the coming decades.
The lithium value chain alone will be a $1.3 trillion sector by 2025, while demand for nickel, graphite, cobalt, copper, manganese, tin, vanadium and rare earths is expected to more than double by 2030 as the world transitions to a low-carbon economy.
This conference affords investors the opportunity to build their understanding of this dynamic sector, but also brings together critical minerals stakeholders – representing industry, academia, regulators and government – from across the globe.
Join us on 21 – 22 March 2023 for Australia’s only event dedicated to the development of the critical minerals industry.
Abstract
To achieve net zero by 2050, as well as continue to provide the minerals required for accelerating digital technology, critical minerals must be found and developed at a historically unprecedented pace and scale. The message is clear – we need more, we need it now and the race is on! As companies across the critical mineral value chain join this race, there is ever increasing ESG scrutiny from all stakeholders – shareholders, communities, financiers, customers and governments. So how can the mining sector leverage ESG to gain the upper hand in this complex, geopolitical race for resources? Gain insights as we explore how ESG can be the key to shaping the sector’s narrative across the value chain, whilst reducing exploration-to-mining timelines.
