CSA Global is proud to be sponsoring and presenting on ‘Environmental, Social and Governance: Changing Our Landscape. Threat or Opportunity? at the RIU Sydney Resources Round-up Conference 2020 between 12-14 May, 2020 at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth in New South Wales.
This leading corporate mining investment conference has built its reputation over the past 16 years by showcasing presentations from industry experts and the who’s who of the junior and mid cap market, together with an exhibition area, providing the environment to connect with key decision makers from the large number of resources companies presenting & exhibiting at the Conference.
Brokers and investors from all over Australia will come to see and hear first-hand from the companies what progress has been made and what their strategies will be for the next 12 months and beyond.
There should be no debate that we are all in this together; it is our collective landscape. Mining has evolved into seeing itself as being a very self-contained and an independent industry; primarily due to the isolation of most mining projects. This mindset can be misinterpreted at times as being elitist and exclusive by non-miners.
The increasing prominence of Environmental, Social and Governance issues makes it clear that our industry needs to re-think ourselves as a part of a big complex whole; as an industry that has obligations, interactions, and needs that fit within the bounds of our society and community. Our ability to continue accessing funding to develop mining projects in the future will depend on this.
