CSA Global is proud to announce that its Mining Manager, Karl van Olden has been elected to the AusIMM Consultants Society committee for the period 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2017.
Commenting on his appointment Karl said: “I am looking forward to contributing to the AusIMM Consultants Society Committee. I think it is more important than ever for consultants to remain a key knowledge resource through the economic cycles,” said Karl van Olden.
CSA Global’s Managing Director, Jeff Elliott congratulated Karl on his appointment: “It’s a credit to Karl and CSA Global to be appointed to the Consultants Society Committee. The AusIMM Consultants Society is currently a 12 person committee dedicated to those professionals employed, operating or interested in the area of mineral industry consulting.
Committee members are expected to attend monthly teleconferences and actively contribute in committee initiatives.
The first meeting of the newly elected Consultants Society committee is scheduled for 22 January 2016.
Karl Van Olden, Mining Manager

Karl van Olden is a mining engineer with 25 years’ experience in planning, development and operations of a diverse range of open pit and underground resources assets across Africa, Asia and Australia. Karl manages the mine engineering team based in CSA Global’s Perth office but maintains global visibility of all engineering-related projects. Karl can assemble teams internationally to provide timely and practical advice from scoping level through to full feasibility studies. The Mining services team work closely with our Resource group to ensure that good geology translates into effective mine planning and more efficient operations. The synergies created by this collaborative ethos enable our team to assist our clients to operate their mines at the optimum level.
