MEET OUR TEAM
Galen White
Managing Director-Europe & Africa
Galen is a geologist and a director with more than twenty years’ experience in the international exploration and mining industry, of which the last ten years have been spent in consulting. Galen assists our clients in the areas of project development, scoping and feasibility studies, project evaluation and appraisal, mineral resource audits, due diligence studies, formal reporting and offering geo-corporate advice. He has worked throughout the globe in a variety of geological settings and commodities and acts as a competent/qualified person for JORC 2012, CIM and other CRIRSCO Code public reporting. Galen holds a Bachelor of Geology from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom and is a Fellow of AusIMM and the Geological Society of London.
Maria O’Connor
Director – UK
Maria is an experienced resource geologist with a strong competency in geostatistics and a skill set put to good effect in resource estimation and evaluation, feasibility studies, project evaluations, resources auditing, due diligence studies, exploration geology, grade control, technical reporting and provision of training. With an emphasis on collaboration, understanding of our client’s needs and objectives and a track record in providing pragmatic and innovative solutions, Maria’s skills are focused on adding value to our client’s projects. She has over 10 years international experience working across Africa, Europe, Australia and the United Kingdom.
Brendan Clarke
Manager-Africa
Brendan is a Geologist with over 18 years’ experience in the minerals industry and uses his technical prowess to deliver cost-effective, fit-for-purpose solutions to clients worldwide. He has specialist skills in the design, execution and management of exploration projects globally, with a specific focus on the management of exploration projects in Africa and the Middle East. He has a strong commercial acumen and a track record of delivering high quality services and products to clients in addition to building and developing strong teams. He holds a PhD in Structural Geology and has published several papers across international journals.
David Muir
Manager – Data
David has more than eleven years’ experience in the mining and exploration industry. He has a Geology Honours degree from the University of Natal in South Africa and possess considerable experience in multiple commodities; including gold, uranium, copper, lead-zinc and a range of others. David is skilled in data management and has worked on projects from early stage grassroots exploration through to operating mines and has experience in SQL databases, QA/QC procedures and analysis, exploration geology, project evaluations and GIS. David is an acQuire GIM Suite Practioner and has significant experience in DataShed, Micromine, ArcGIS and Spring Portals as well as a range of other software. He has a practical and common sense approach to problem solving and is passionate about developing best practice solutions for clients. David is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London (FGS), and a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (MAIG).
Graham Jeffress
Manager – Corporate
Graham is a geologist with more than 28 years’ experience in exploration and management in Australia, PNG and Indonesia. His broad experience across the mining sector underpins CSA Global’s specialist technical corporate services. He is responsible for a coordinating a vast pool of high calibre specialists in Australia and internationally. His role on the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) ensures he is very well informed in key regulatory matters. Graham manages small and large projects with our clients throughout Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Australasia. He works collaboratively with our international offices to ensure we get the right skill set for each role, which can be anything from initial high-level fatal flaw checks through comprehensive due diligence to independent technical reporting and valuation of large multiple project mining operations.
Alexey Tsoy
Principal Consultant (Corporate & Business Development)
Alexey’s extensive knowledge of the mining industry in Russia and CIS as well as his proven record as an effective business development practitioner provides the perfect combination of skills to build on our successful involvement in this region. His extensive business network can be put to use to help our Russian and CIS clients, or those with projects in the region. Alexey works closely with our international offices to ensure we provide the best corporate and technical services to our clients, often assisting with dual reporting requirements (e.g. Russian GKZ & JORC) to facilitate foreign investment.
