Daniel (Stan) Wholley – Global Operations

Stan is a geologist and manager with 25 years’ experience in exploration and mining geology. In his role as Global Operations Manager at CSA Global, Stan works closely with all of the Australian and international managers to ensure that our network of staff and associates across the globe work collaboratively to get the best outcomes for our clients. This global outlook enables Stan to provide advice to clients on how to best access the diversity of skills available within CSA Global.
Karl Van Olden – Mining Manager
BSc (Eng) (Mining), Grad Dip Eng (Mineral Economics), MBA, FAusIMM, MAICD
Karl van Olden is a mining engineer with 25 years’ experience in planning, development and operations of a diverse range of open pit and underground resources assets across Africa, Asia and Australia. Karl manages the mine engineering team based in our Perth office but maintains global visibility of all engineering-related projects. Karl can assemble teams internationally to provide timely and practical advice from scoping level through to full feasibility studies. The Mining services team work closely with our Resource group to ensure that good geology translates into effective mine planning and more efficient operations. The synergies created by this collaborative ethos enable our team to assist our clients to operate their mines at the optimum level.
Dr Neal Reynolds
PhD, BSc, FAusIMM, MAIG, FSEG
Dr Neal Reynolds is a geologist with almost 30 years’ experience in the mineral exploration industry from project generation to advanced project stage, encompassing targeting studies, project management, project due diligence, audit and optimisation, and expert reporting. Neal has extensive experience in Asia, Africa, and Australia.
Dr Simon Dorling
PhD, MSc (Geology), MAIG
Dr Simon Dorling is a principal geologist with over 26 years’ experience in exploration, development and the mining of base metals, precious metals, energy minerals and industrial minerals. Simon has applied his skills to projects at the grass roots level through to full feasibility study stage. Simon has spent many years working throughout Africa.
