Dr Andrew Scogings – Principal Consultant
PhD Geology, MAIG, MAusIMM, RPGeo (Industrial Minerals)
Andrew is a highly experienced geologist with expert knowledge of industrial minerals exploration, mining and processing, product development, market applications and commercialisation processes. He provides CSA Global’s clients with his expertise in industrial minerals exploration management, technical evaluation of exploration and acquisition targets, geological modelling and industrial minerals resource estimation. Andrew is a regular contributor to Industrial Minerals Magazine and has published several papers on the requirements of JORC 2012 Clause 49. He was recently recognised by the AIG as a Registered Professional Geologist specialising in industrial minerals.
Grant Louw – Senior Resource Geologist
BSc (Hons) Geology, GSSA, AIG
Grant currently works for CSA Global as a Senior Resource Geologist and has been with CSA Global for seven years. Grant’s main focus has been the modelling and estimation of resources in the gold and iron sectors. As a mine geologist, he has also gained experience in underground mapping, grade control, borehole layouts, core logging, reserve calculations and development planning.
Dr Bill Shaw – Associate
PhD, MGeoSc (Mineral Economics), BSc (Geology), FAIG, RPGeo, FAusIMM, CPGeo
Dr Bill Shaw has over 40 years of experience in economic geology, resource evaluation and mining. He has operational experience in gold and ferrous metals and resource modelling experience in many commodities. Bill has audited mineral resources and ore reserves to international standards including the Australasian JORC, US Securities and Exchange Commission, Canadian NI 43-101 and South African SAMREC international standards. He has been involved in the management of large evaluation projects and major audits. He is on the Joint Ore Reserves Committee (JORC) and is President of the Australian Geoscience Council.
