PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA – December 14, 2022 – CSA Global (an ERM Group company) is pleased to welcome Principal Consultant and Mineral Processing Engineer Richard Wagner to its Toronto team in Canada.
Richard has 40 year’s combined industry and consulting experience in operations, auditing, and laboratory testing services.
Partner-Canada, Nigel Fung stated: “Richard joins CSA Global at a critical time as we commence our growth in the metallurgy arena. Richard will be integral in assisting our client base in the areas of Sustainable Flowsheet Development for Metals Recovery, Water Recycle and Tailings Optimization. He will also provide our clients with expertise in mineral processing process plant audits and optimization.
Richard, who fills a critical service gap, will be supported by Nahid Molaei, a Toronto-based mineral processing engineer who joined the CSA Global team earlier in May.
His geometallurgy, mineral processing and environmental skills are a welcome addition to the broader ERM group. In his role, Richard will carry out tasks critical to geometallurgy, mineral recovery and sustainable flowsheet development to enhance value and maximize water and tailings reuse, said Nigel.
Prior to commencing with CSA Global, Richard spent 33 years in a testing capacity with SGS Canada in Lakefield, Ontario and nine years in production operations in Timmins. Richard was responsible for the provision of bench, pilot testing and sales support on various precious metals, critical minerals and industrial mineral projects. In operations, he worked in multiple roles in a gold-silver-copper concentrator with crushing, grinding, flotation, cyanidation, precipitation, refinery, and assay lab.
Richard has developed numerous publications in hydrometallurgy, mineral processing, and environmental topics.
He received the SGS Award for Outstanding Sales Top Performer Mineral Services for four consecutive years.
