CSA Global UK team is looking  forward to meeting you at Mines and Money London between 27-30 November 2017 at the Business Design Centre in London.

The conference will bring together investors and financiers to discover and evaluate new investment opportunities in the mining sector.

This years conference will cover the following key themes:

  • Capitalising on the Electric Vehicle and Transport as a Service (TaaS) revolution – where are the real wins for the mining industry

Galen White
Managing Director – UK

Galen is a geologist and a director with more than twenty years’ experience in the international exploration and mining industry, of which the last ten years have been spent in consulting. Galen assists our clients in the areas of project development, scoping and feasibility studies, project evaluation and appraisal, mineral resource audits, due diligence studies, formal reporting and offering geo-corporate advice. He has worked throughout the globe in a variety of geological settings and commodities and acts as a competent/qualified person for JORC 2012, CIM and other CRIRSCO Code public reporting. Galen holds a Bachelor of Geology from the University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom and is a Fellow of AusIMM and the Geological Society of London.

Director – Russia

Alexey’s extensive knowledge of the mining industry in Russia and CIS as well as his proven record as an effective business development practitioner provides the perfect combination of skills to build on our successful involvement in this region. His  extensive business network can be put to use to help our Russian and CIS clients, or those with projects in the region. Alexey works closely with our international offices to ensure we provide the best corporate and technical services to our clients, often assisting with dual reporting requirements (e.g. Russian GKZ & JORC) to facilitate foreign investment.

Maria O’Connor
Principal Resource Geologist

Dennis has over (30) years’ experience in exploration in a wide range of environments in both the minerals and the petroleum industries, as an academic, and in geological surveys. In recent years he has been involved as a consultant in the development of exploration programs for precious and base metals exploration in Australia, North America, South America and the Middle East. Specifically, this has included contributing to exploration targeting reviews and understanding gold and base metals mineral systems, the design, management and interpretation of surficial geochemical surveys, the interpretation of lithogeochemical data, the preparation of QA/QC protocols, reviews of geochemical data quality, and contributions to NI43-101 and JORC/Valmin technical reports. He has published extensively in the areas of applied geochemistry, economic geology and thermal history analysis for tectonic and petroleum exploration applications.

Thomas Branch
Senior Geologist – Exploration and Resources

Thomas is a solution-focused and hands-on exploration and resource geologist, with practical experience across multiple commodity and deposit types. He possesses more than 12 years’ experience, with his first five years managing drilling, sampling and mapping programs across remote parts of Africa. In 2010, he moved to London to focus on the estimation of resources with its associated project due diligence and auditing for compliance. This resource estimation work, combined with his practical background, means he is able to identify and contextualise resource risks as well as upside potential. Thomas has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) and a Masters of Science in Geology. He is a Fellow of the British Geological Society.
