Dr Maxim Seredkin will be presenting “Development of information systems for mining companies – approaches, opportunities and possible issues”.
The Forum has been held in Russia since 2005 and is considered one of the most important and authoritative events on Mining and Exploration in Russia and the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Organised ‘under the main theme “Russian mining industry – new sources of growth” MINEX Russia 2016 Forum will provide an industry-wide discussion on Russia’s mining industry growth scenarios and its ability to renew mineral resource base, develop infrastructure, train personnel and introduce more efficient solutions to reduce the costs and improve efficiency.

Dr Maxim Seredkin has 20 years’ experience in exploration, mining production and resource estimation. He has experience in a range of commodities and reporting codes. Maxim’s is a Competent Person for JORC, Qualified Person for NI 43-101 code and Expert NAEN. Maxim is particularly sought after in industry and academia for his expertise in uranium, he has in-depth experience across a range of geological settings and deposit types. He has specialist skills in the application of in-situ recovery for uranium extraction. In addition to uranium expertise, Maxim has experience in bauxite, rare earths, gold, base metals, PGE and iron ore. Maxim has a strong scientific background, with research experience in ore deposits genesis, petrology and the mineralisation.
