Join Partners, Paul Heaney, Anibal Diaz and Roberta Pedlar-Hobbs when they present during the 2022 PDAC Convention Week on ‘Water Resilience in a Change World’ between 13-15 June, 2022 at The Delta Hotel in Toronto, Canada.
We are excited to bring together experts from ERM with in-depth international experience in mine water management in a diverse range of climatic, political, social, and geographical environments.
Water is a critical component of the climate change, ESG and sustainability challenges facing mines across the globe. Our specialists support mining companies in addressing these water-related challenges and help to strengthen the resilience of their mining assets.
This session will aim to:
- Examine the various water constraints that impact mining today – climatic, geopolitical, community, environment, and sustainability.
- Explore the impacts of climate change and changing patterns of water availability and how they can impact your mining operation.
- Discuss effective, practical, and sustainable water management strategies required for the successful permitting, operation, and closure of mines.
- Explore risks, conflicts, and opportunities around access and control over water resources and how mining can actively promote economic growth and raise living standards.
Register HERE to learn more about how to successfully navigate the water-related challenges facing mining companies in the current and ever-changing world we live in today.
Visit us to discuss the elements we see as important to building sustainable mining operations through our ‘Mine We All Want to See’ framework and meet the mining global team.
