CSA Global Eastern Australia and Pac-Rim Manager, Patrick Maher will present an “Outlook for Papua New Guinea” at the ResourceStocks Conference between 16-17 May 2018 at the SMC Conference & Function Centre in Sydney, Australia.
Papua New Guinea (PNG) is rich in both renewable and non-renewable natural resources. These include extensive rain forests, a rich marine life, fertile soil for agriculture and significant reserves of gold, silver, copper, nickel, cobalt, other mineral deposits. Patrick will address and assess the outlook for PNG in today’s market, as well as the key areas and districts for exploration and development.
He is joined by Dr Mark Allen who will present on “Global Outlook for Zinc” which will examine the fundamentals of supply into the future and why we may be cautiously optimistic for the long term.

Patrick is a geologist with over 15 years’ experience in geological disciplines ranging from mapping and exploration to working as a project leader for community development and sustainability groups in Ireland and Australia. Patrick is responsible for the management of our eastern Australian offices in Brisbane and Darwin. He is also strongly involved with our PacRim customers and maintains close contacts with the Indonesian and Singapore offices to service our Asian and American clients.
Mark Allen

Dr Mark Allen is a geologist with more than 20 years’ experience in mineral exploration and mineral deposit evaluation. He possesses an outstanding knowledge of base metal mineral deposits and has evaluated projects and led exploration teams around the world. Prior to joining CSA Global, Mark held senior exploration and business development roles with companies including Pasminco, Oxiana and OZ Minerals. He has implemented and encouraged the highest standards of technical and operational excellence across technical support groups. Dr Allen has worked in various countries, including, Australia, Pakistan, India, Namibia, Thailand, USA, and North America and possess specialist expertise in base metal metallogeny and exploration.
