ESG during Exploration – Setting Up For ‘The Mine We Want to See’
Time: 8 am to 9 am PST
Public and investor scrutiny around mining development continues to increase, especially in the realm of Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance (ESG). This means that mining companies need to set clear business goals, beginning at exploration, to circumvent potential delays and maximize investment value. Join our panel who will examine ESG issues at the exploration stage of projects. They will discuss how to build Indigenous and community dialogue, and how junior miners can maximize the value of their data. We feel these areas can be leveraged to de-risk the permitting roadmap, and advance a project to development, or ready it for acquisition. They also pave the road for sustainable mining practices, which, we at ERM, have coined in a framework titled ‘the mine we want to see’.
Join members of the CSA Global and ERM teams at Booth #803 throughout the AME Conference 2020 between 29-23 January and discuss the elements we see as important to building sustainable mining operations through our ‘mine we want to see’ framework.
