CSA Global’s Mining Geologist, Steve Rose conducting English classes in rural China

CSA Global’s team of mining geologists regularly work on site at the Caijiaying Mine in the Hebei Province, China for our client, Griffin Mining.  Sunhao is the nearest town to the Caijiaying Mine, around 3kms away. The Sunhao school is a junior school, where many of the children board at the school during the week and go home on the weekend. The children’s parents live and work on the farms in the district.

The students have formal English classes each week, but once a week, after formal lessons they have an extra-curricular English class.  CSA Global staff on site at the Caijiaying Mine heard about the program and offered to take part. Our mining geologists have been regularly helping with lessons ever since.
